Fragranced Pillar Candles

Like aromatherapy candles, scented candles can be used to freshen air, set a tone or mood, and provide a decorative candle accent for any space. Because candle fragrances usually come directly from nature, scented candles are also an excellent way to bring subtle elements of the outdoors inside.

The most popular candle scents tend to be flower-based, floral fragrances or woodsy, botanical fragrances.  Candle fragrances drawn from foods and spices like  vanilla, cinnamon, apple pie and apple spice are also increasingly popular, and choosing the candle fragrance that's right for you depends upon both your style and your preference.

Bright, clean sea shell, vanilla or fresh linen scents, for example, work very well with clean, contemporary interiors. Pale blue, white, ivory or pastel scented candle colors and subtle embedded pine or sea shell candles can give depth and dimension to a fragrant candle display. Likewise, pale  colored votive candles in clarifying sea shell, fresh linen or lavender scents are also ideal candles for spas and salons, as are fresh sage or sandalwood scented candles.

Fragrant candle like apple spice, cinnamon spice, pine and mulberry, are a wonderful enhancement to more traditional interiors, and candles with deeper colors, and heavier floral scented candles like rose and gardenia pillar candles and votives are excellent candles for home d??cor. Candles with floral fragrances are also ideal candles for creating a romantic mood, while candles with botanical scents (like fresh sage or embedded eucalyptus pillar candles) are ideal candles for aromatherapy and relaxation.

The most effective way to use candles of any fragrance is to combine a variety of shapes and sizes (choosing a set of scented candles is an easy and inexpensive way to do this). Place groupings of candles with the same scent in different locations around your interior space so that the candle scent diffuses throughout.
